Physical description
A cream bolero with applied embroidery, diamantes and pearls of various sizes. Cord wrapped in silk is stitched down in motifs of curling leaves and budding flowers combined with finer twisted silk, and metallic thread. The applied decoration is dense at the shoulders and trails down the centre front and back. The short bolero has a ‘v’ neckline and is fitted to the waist, hooking with concealed metal hook and eye through the centre front. The bolero is cut with short dolmain sleeves, two triangles patched under the arm form a diamond gusset, also finished with embroidery. The bolero is fully lined in cream silk.
