A Surrealism and blues party

If your music was an artwork what would it look like?
Fernand Léger “Masque Nègre” (The Black Mask)

What’s your favourite gig you have played to date?
Paris. Point Ephmere.

What inspires/influences your music the most?
Life events. The ridiculous and the sublime. Love.

What song do you wish you wrote?
“Like A Rolling Stone” by Bob Dylan

What part of making music excites you the most?
Live concerts for the immediate exchange of communication and enthusiasm between us and our audience.

What can someone expect from your live show?
A real good time.

Tell us about the last song or album you created?
Latest album “La Araña Es La Vida” is informed by 1960’s Chicano Rock, modern noise, karate monkeys, Mexican folklore, most notably the Great Spider Goddess of Teotihuacan and fairground dunking clowns.

Degas: A New Vision showcases works by Edgar Degas that reveal how the artist observed the world around him. How do you feel your music reflects life today?
We provide an escape from the humdrum and so so of life. As a rock n roll band we reflect the sexy, illuminated , ridiculous and sublime .

What are you working on now?
I am currently finishing a memoir of my childhood thru early 20’s growing up in Los Angeles in years 1959 to 1984 . Currently looking for a publisher. I also look forward to making dinner for my husband at home.
