Sometimes finding the confidence in yourself to take the next step in life is daunting. Debbie Millman, design expert and host of the podcast Design Matters, champions the idea of shaping one’s own definition of success through focussing on courage rather than confidence. “Courage is the foundation for authentic confidence,” she says. “Taking the first step creates courage which will grow with every repetitive step you take.” In this presentation, Debbie Millman speaks about how she has intentionally shaped her life to fit her personal definition of success.
