From our team here at NGV, we’d like to express our very best wishes to our community at this time.

Due to the evolving nature of COVID-19 and after following closely the State and Federal Government’s advice, we have extended the NGV’s temporary closure until 30 June.

If you have pre-purchased tickets for current exhibitions or upcoming programs, our team will be in contact with you shortly to arrange full refunds.

How can design shape life? In this seminar the panel and audience considers ideas around product and service development with regard to health and wellbeing, including the new wave of design thinking that emerged in the 1990s and contrast contemporary practices with examples from the past held in the RMIT Design Archives collections. The Britax Safe ‘n’ Sound Baby Capsule (RMIT Design Archives’ Robert Pataki Archive), the Protector Eye Wash Station (Form Australia), and the Facett Hearing Aid (Heiss for Blamey Saunders hears) are just some of the products to be discussed.
